- The solution used should be a weak acid solution with concentration less than 5%, citric acid for example.
- Should the acid concentration be too high, the copper and stainless steel inside could be etched or corroded.
- Flush the Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger with large amounts of fresh water before restarting the system in order to purge
any remaining
acid solution.
